Pacquiao pts, styles, them being a similar height and Chavez fighting how he did, compact, it would just mean a bigger target to tee off on and with the earmuffs on and lack of range variety of his punches (all tight and compact punches, no long range stuff) would just leave his attacks more predictable.
I like Manny but sorry, he's not that good at inside range fighting,I thought Chavez would beat him in the inside.
Horrible style matchup for Chavez IMO. Pac excels against that style. You either gotta be way bigger than him or be an elite level counter puncher (Marquez and Mayweather) to beat him.
I agree that they have different styles. But, steroids aside, Chavez is naturally bigger, and, better than Marquez. He is also far more relentless. And, his chin was solid cast iron.
