Donovan ruddock of 90/91 v also prime Alexander povetkin who wins ?

 

Povetkin is a bit too skilled for Ruddock. Unless Ruddock catches him with a big left, i don't see him winning. Povetkin could punch hard with both hands, put lovely combinations together and had good skills.

Povetkin by decision or late stoppage.

 

Ruddock was far better than Povetkin

 

He wasn't, but Tyson was, so it's a pickem fight imo

Povetkin for me. Too well rounded, too well drilled. Ruddock's big ace is his punch and while it gives him a chance, I'd not favour him.

 

Povetkin on points, Ruddock, whilst had decent skill on the outside, wouldn’t be enough to stay away from Povetkin, Povetkin would force the errors and set up counters, and on the inside, Povetkin would go to the wide open body of Ruddock, since Ruddock, when in close, would put the earmuffs on right up to his temple, which would leave the body open, then when Ruddock counters, Povetkin can beat him to the punch upstairs when trading hooks.

 

This. Especially prime Povetkin when he had reached his very best form between 2014-2016. He was a man possessed.

Ruddock was a big puncher and had one hell of an uppercut, I think that I'd favor Ruddock to win by KO, though Povetkin would make it a tough fight.
