I fondly remember this spelling competition on East Side Boxing where whoever got the closest of spelling Pongsaklek Wonjongkam properly won a tiny glove signed by Paul Spadafora. This was before copy & paste and GPT correct were invented you know, so you had to do this weird thing of 'memorizing it' and use what they called a 'keyboard' to input the proper letters in correct order. I won.
Keep calm bro I'm french not english or american. I understand that for you to discover that there are languages other than English is fascinating on Earth.
This is a great matchup.. Pong lasted longer and proved himself over a period of time against stronger competition. Sasakul seemed frozen out of the big fights due to health after his loss to Pacquiao... have to go with Pongskalek... would love to see the fight but Thai legends would have never fought each other... they are friends today.
Fascinating match up. Sasakul looks really impressive when he's on form, especially when he beat Arbachakov. But I'll take the far more proven, more consistent Wongjongkam to win this by decision.
I remember this thread. 14 years ago. https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/pongsaklek-wonjongkam.215333/ Long ass name aside Pongsaklek Wonjongkam was definitely a damn good fighter.
