Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou - One year later

No robbery. Fury looked terrible but still outboxed Ngannou in enough of the rounds to get the nod.

 

Robbery if ever there was one.

You don't win a fight on 12 jabs when you were dropped and outlanded in power punches.

Not a robbery, but I felt Ngannou should have gotten the nod

 

The fact that a whole year has passed, is more concerning than the fight itself. Where the **** did that go!

I've always been a Fury fan and I thought he should have lost but I didn't score the fight. I also realized that night that his old lifestyle and probbably the Wilder fights had caught up to him and he was done as the #1.

 

Crazy to think Ngannou was on top of the world at that point, it all came crashing down for him in brutal fashion. Nobody really cares about seeing him box again and hes stuck fighting nobodies in an MMA B league until he retires.

 

Close fights aren't robberies. I remember watching it at the time thinking Ngannou had done just enough to maybe squeak it, but haven't rewatched it or scored it.

Was clearly an off night for Fury.

 

Close fight and could have gone either way. No robbery. Watched it 3 times and scored it for Ngannou twice and for Fury once.

 

Fury from the Usyk fight would’ve made Francis look like he’d never been in a ring before, sure this fight proved Francis wasn’t someone to overlook but it certainly didn’t prove that he was at any sort of elite boxing level. He performed so well due to Fury’s lack of ****s given

 

30 million dollars for 14 rounds of boxing. Pretty good place to be if you ask me.

 

For 11 and a half

 

Fury was absolutely shocking, but clearly and simply he won more rounds.

It would be a robbery if there were 5 clear rounds for Francis (making it 95-94), but there weren’t.

Francis only won rounds 3,7,8 clearly. But all the rest can be scored for Fury. The judges scorecards were all fair.

Tired of casuals calling every single close fight a robbery.
