More of a chance because Whyte is getting up there, has been KO'd several times brutally now and looked terrible in his last fight against a guy who can't punch at all.

Personally, I think Beterbiev could beat a feral pitbull and three 70 foot long anaconda at the same time while reading a magazine...but that's just me.

Remember what Foremans uppercuts were doing to Frazier? That same thing would happen if Whyte's gloves connected with Beterbievs chin.

Absolutely he can. Whyte has lost punch resistance now.
Even before, punchers at 175 can hurt HWs or KO them. I don't know why people think they can't. You can even see people of similar size to Beterbiev like Chagaev KO'ing HW's years ago. Look how he floored Browne with one punch even when shot to bits.
Chagaev wasn't a real HW, he was fat. Beter is very lean, but could easily be another fat short HW if he wanted to be.

Even against prime Whyte I'd give Beter a shot because he is a better boxer and much faster. But it's more in Whyte's favour due to the size and Beter can't afford to take clean shots. But anyone who Fury can KO with one punch is definitely vulnerable to getting KO'd by Beter with a bunch of clean ones.

I think people are forgetting that Bivol didn't really take clean bombs and that's why he survived. Whyte will exchange and get caught pretty easily. It's just a question of whether he can take out Beter before he goes down himself.

Well put! I totally agree. People seem to ignore the fact that so many of these heavyweights could get down to cruiser, or even lower! Even "lean" heavyweights could easily strip twenty pounds of fat. People underestimate how much fat these fat heavyweights could lose. We're talking three digits here.
