    His wins over Benetiz and Hill could be argued as greater than over Cuevas, but I see why you've gone with the latter, given how destructive the performance was.

    Yeah those wins are arguably better but i choose fights that are IMO the most entertaining

    That the one where he got hit with the two arm uppercut? Where Carnera threw the punch(es) like he was chucking a bucket of water?

    I've never seen a punch with so little snap cause such dramatic collapse. Sharkey's reaction to that lends credence to anyone, and I count myself among that number, who finds Dempsey's knockout of him very sus indeed.

    The same could be said of Carnera's KO of Schaaf from a simple jab. Only problem is, Schaaf died afterward.

    Given how much girth was behind Carnera's punches (especially for a HW of his era), I wouldn't rule out that he had deceptive power despite his poor punching technique.
