I think Canelo has the style to beat Beterbiev if the stars align.

Clenelolose needs to understand he isn't suited for light-heavy

I think it’s more a case of Canelo seeing stars if he ever does fight Beterbiev, but then again full props to Canelo if he actually does take the Beterbiev fight .

I kind of get what your saying but Canelo ain't got the quick feet Bivol dose so he'd have to stand and trade with the bigger man

Ginger wanted nothing to do with to do with a prime Beterbiev. He dropped that WBO LHW strap like it was molten lead and ducked back down to a graveyard division to become ''undisputed'' (whilst shamelessly ducking his greatest threat and the second best at that weight in Benavidez) after cherrypicking Kovalev's shot concussed drunk ghost because he knew Beterbiev would've pounded him into a quivering heap.

He won't go anywhere near Benavidez for love nor money. Nor Morrell and I suspect he's going to duck the new Cubano boogeyman on the block in Osleys Iglesias too.

He has no interest in facing the best or the actual legit threats. Hence why he's sending offers to MW Hamzah Sheeraz who isn't even a world champion at 160 yet, let alone 168. Very good fighter but he's not a SMW, nor a world champion and he's inexperienced at the top level

Threads like this severely overrate Canelo. His toughest fights were against GGG and Bivol. Fighters w amazing pedigrees. Do we really think Beterbiev's skill, physicality, pace, and power won't be an issue?

If Canelo's team thought he could beat Beterbiev, they would have made the fight by now.

I think the reason Canelo would take this fight is everyone expects him to lose and if he lucks out a close win it will be the crown jewel of his career. If he gets KTFO thats sort of the expectation here.

My guy GGG outworked Canelo in fight 1 and fight 2 was a draw. Fight 1 was a bad decision honestly

Canelo has a better chance to beat Beterbiev than he does Bivol for sure, but the problem is Canelo does not have the balls to ever try.

i called this fight right after the bivol fight. i knew they would go after the fight. i think biev has to ko canelo to win, cause hes not going to outpoint him. and canelo has a titanium head protected by great waist movement. also, canelo might not be able to 1 punch ko biev, but hes really accurate and biev doesnt have great defense. eventually he can crack that nut. bievs best chance is a body shot ko.
    i like canelo here.

If you mean getting punished for 12 rounds and then receiving the gift decision, yes, we know, GGG 1 and 2.

The fact you believe Canelo won the first fight against GGG shows YDKSAB. Sorry bro.

Regardless of the outcome, this is a fight I would savour, unless Beterbiev had really fallen off the old man cliff. Artur will get the money he deserves for the entertainment he has given, and Canelo will get the beating he deserves for all the drugs, ducks and decisions he's used to lie to us.

I'm still not sold on Benavidez. He's tall, lanky, can throw combinations but doesn't yet look to hit hard enough ,especially at LHW. Btw all this discussion and I'm not sure how much longer Beterbiev even has. One ore fight at 175 as a Bivol rematch? Makes sense but after that he either moves up or retires.
