Ike Ibeabucchi scheduled to fight on 12/7

McCall was fighting on and off throughout the 2010s.

 

He originally got a 150 year sentence.
After about 7 years they shaved off 45 years of his sentence ob a technicality.

 

They should have let this ****** rot. Now some will say his crimes have nothing to do with his boxing career. Tell that to his victims. Hope he does come back and gets beat. Then his worshippers will say “Oh he was old, past it, so and so would never have beaten him back in the day, etc, etc, et ****ing cetera?

 

They are letting him rot.He aint getting out,it s academical,he wont live long enough to come. out.

Good point. He got through with boxing just as some serious questions would have been asked of him. Would he have answered those questions in the ring? Nobody can tell for sure. Would he have retired unbeaten? I’d bet no. Would he have won a (BELT)? I’d say if it didn’t belong to Bowe or Lewis, perhaps. Would he have cleaned out the division? I’d bet no.

I'd pick Ike. He is training very seriously the last few years, he's always in shape, and Akpejori is a bum, zero skills, he's just tall and that's it. Now if Ike will face someone like even today's Chris Arreola, it would be a very hard fight for him

He’s gonna win but his skills will have eroded with Father Time !!!! Sad

Really wish a prime Ike Ibeabuchi were fighting today. Guy had so much potential and was an absolute beast. Would have been interesting to have seen him against the likes of Usyk and Fury.

 

Always thought Ibeabuchi was like a combination of Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson. Had so much talent and would have been a threat to any HWs if he just kept it together mentally. I would have loved to have seen him against Lewis, Holyfield, Klitschkos, Tyson.

If he were to have fought today he could have potentially be the top HW fighter.

 

Kinda surreal how the world moves on while you in prison rotting doing nothing but aging.

While Ike has been away HBO retired from boxing,his biggest supporter ,his mom passed away,his mentor Curtis Cokes passed away,one of the guys who was at the table at the famous HBO meeting where Ike threw a kitchen knife in the table and proclaimed he is the President and that his titles are being held hostage,a one Cedric Kushner(his promoter) has passed away.
This guy is basically doing it by himself,at 51,no trainer,no management,no contract,just Clubber Lang-ing it all by himself.He has no kids,no wife,no money and no connections.
Just himself,his mind,shadow boxing in fron of a mirror.
It s exciting and sad at the same time.The brutality of life.
