But in the eyes of many he did. He lost to the best he faced at LMW, the best he faced at MW and the best he faced at LHW. SMW he's done well in, but not to the level that Usyk has.
Oh...shadow asked this years ago. (his OP written six years ago to a day this coming Tuesday) Somewhat mitigating...until you realize that shadow probably still puts Canelo ahead of Usyk p4p.
1st fight was very competitive although I do feel Golovkin was unlucky not to get the nod i thought he edged it 7-5 but i wouldn't say a draw was the worst result although the 118-110 card was ridiculous. I see no issue with Canelo winning the rematch he was the aggressor and landed the harder punches.
Your argument is literally that you’re unable to score like a professional judge and that this should matter in the official results.
Depper? perhaps Usyk's two wins over Joshua > Canelo's controversial second win over an aging GGG and the third fight win over a completely shot GGG. Bellew = aging Kovalev at the very least. Gassiev = Plant Bredis > Sanders Hunter = Lara And Usyk has won his fights without any favourable judging.
The Fury fight was just as close as the supposedly controversial Canelo fights. A draw and win over GGG is a big deal. GGG was the man at 160 and will be first ballot hof without heavyweight privilege. Lara is obviously a bigger win than Hunter by a wide margin. And Kovelav is much more significant than Bellew. Jacobs was at least equal to Breidis. And then you conveniently cut off the resume comparisons because Canelo’s relevant wins exceed the entirety of Usyk’s career.
Usyk knocked down Fury and outlanded him in power punches in the majority of rounds. No reasonable person could score it for Fury. One of the judges that scored it for Fury is clearly a corrupt judge IMO. If you want to argue that overall, Canelo has more deptth, i don't think i can disagree. But i still think Usyk's best wins are just as good if not better. And cleaner.
Canelo has the much better resume, but he has the one sides losses to Bivol and Floyd, couple of dubious decisions, while usyk has stayed unbeaten I will say if Fury legit beats Usyk, I will rank Canelo higher. He has fought way better opponents and had many more fights. He has also moved up a lot of weight himself which is harder in the lower classes You guys hate canelo because you worship GGG, but the guy has a quality resume Bivol is probably close to usyk in quality and Floyd is much better, so no shame there
This post should be removed for hate speech Canelo is a frigging bum AND SO IS CRAWFORD next to Usyk Usyk is pound for pound. Nobody else exists. Nobody else matters.
It was a split decision, sir. Get back to me with your straight to Amazon Prime documentary on the corruption of boxing judges for decisions against your favorite fighter
