I hope he can win, but I don't see it. I think Mike's getting knocked out cold in a sight as sad as Ali getting destroyed by Holmes.

On the one hand I would love to see Jake Paul destroyed and his moneygrab crash and burn; on the other hand if Tyson wins or is at least competitive then it would somewhat legitimise this farce and possibly similarly farcical moneygrabs in the future. Ultimately though what I want to see is Tyson to get through the fight without serious damage; 58 year olds do not belong in the ring.

Regardless of our personal thoughts and morals on this fight. If it is going to be a bona fide fight as well as the obvious money spinner that it most certainly is, and not just some semi agreed exhibition. Then the thought of Tyson catching Paul early doors is not an impossibility, is it?.

Could very well be worth a throwaway fun bet.

I actually would love to see Tyson knocked out by Paul. The reaction would be quite entertaining.

For someone who claims he wants his name to be respected in the sport, he and his brother seem to refuse to do anything to gain that respect in the effect of getting a respectable opponent. I'm not one to hate on anyone who finds a "legal" way of getting themselves $$ so I'm not going to claim he doesn't deserve what he has earned from his high profile exhibitions. But thing I will say he needs to be fighting actual competitors in this sport if he wants true boxing fans to see him as more than just a YouTuber in the ring.

That being said, if he is looking for a high profile fight that he can market, stop looking for retired competitors and/or individuals who have little to know experience in the ring. Why not target current high profile names who may be on their way out of the sport.....

Jake Paul vs................Deontay Wilder. You have a man who is on the decline, never really had any real technique to lean on, would definitely be a great partner to sell tickets. And the biggest thing......if you are to get a win vs Wilder, even though he isn't a world champ currently, you still would be able to have a name on your resume that is more respectable than fighting (even) a 60 year old legend coming off an injury....

That would actually be an intriguing fight. 10 rounder..... PPV worthy. You have one last hoorah for Wilder and an opportunity to prove yourself for Paul. One punch to defend. You can do that, you'll be able to do what 40 other fighters weren't able to vs Wilder.

It would be a moment in boxing history that would be up there with some of the best ever I think, if Tyson knocks Paul out.

Why? Does that even need to be explained? I hope to bejeezus that Mike can do it but he's an old dude so my hopes aren't up. If they fed Paul to Beterbiev I could get behind that idea.

As shot as Wilder is, Paul's not gonna look for this scrap anytime, soon.

And as far as Paul actually marketing himself and money making, he's doing just fine looking at his earnings so far.

Is Netflix that relatively new streaming app I've heard about?

Oh, definitely. No argument here. I'm just going off his little interview he had a couple months ago....can't remember the platform......where's he mentioned trying to get more respect for his hardwork in the ring. I do think that Paul is on par with a lot of the guys that Wilder has fought over his career though. Like Owen Beck or Dan Sheehan or hell, even Harold Sconiers put Wilder on the canvas before getting stopped in the 4th.

And even if it's not Wilder, who I mentioned because that would be a huge payday for both parties, there are other names like Jared Anderson, or Justis Huni or someone who can give him a notable win.

But I get it.......why put yourself at risk for a fight you can make the same amount of $$ doing with less or no risk. But in the same sense, he can't be addressing the fact boxing fans aren't respecting his "contribution" to the sport. Nor should he be calling out top names in the sport knowing he had face no one that gives him a reason to suggest he deserves that fight.
