I don't know how the board can license him if he hasn't provided a reason as to how Clomifene got into his system. It is not for UKAD to prove how it got there, it is for Benn to explain how it did. The truth will start to leak, just as it did last time. Hearn and the rest of them will have egg on their face.
Bored of seeing his stupid, hateful gob on shows he's undeserving of a seat at, overshadowing events like the recent unification of two of the finest fighters in the world (that aren't shouty Nepo babies). We all know this is all bollocks , especially when calling out fighters he'd never dare face, instead we get pantomime nonsense with an ageing inactive fighter that's not even in his weight class. The sooner he fights again, the sooner he gets banged out and disappears.
Spot on. They're going with the 'they can't prove it was in his body for doping' line... well what was it there for then? To get pregnant? Hearn and Matchroom are absolute scumbags.
So it’s been 25 months and the best they can come up with is ‘it was in my body but it wasn’t for doping’ and have pretty much just cleared themselves. They tried doing the whole clearing themselves thing last year. I’ve noticed the only interviews he’s doing are the tinpot ones with Parsons new channel/IFL etc and nobody that will actually challenge him. Bloke is absolute scum. Can’t wait for the day Benn gets sparked clean out. Will be a glorious day for boxing.
You'd have thought Hearn would have learned his lesson over the past 2 years and kept his gob shut for once
Can spout off to channels ran by his mates Parsons and Koogz all he likes but he won’t go on any platform that will challenge him on it.
Eddie Hearn keeps sticking his brass neck out to build this guy. The mind boggles at how much of Matchroom's reputational capital, built over many years by his father and then himself he's squandered trying to tell us black is white and up is down. The latest statement from Benn was the cherry on the cake, doubling down on his supposedly being cleared, when all his expensive legal team have managed to do is to focus on technical questions around jurisdiction, somehow managing to swerve the strict liability that should be enforced if we truly want a safe sport. I'm grateful though, it's saved me a few quid because I want nothing to do with them or their horrendous manufactured 'star'. The fight they finally put on with Eubank JR will probably do decent business, the casual fans will probably flock their on name recognition and nostalgia, but it doesn't deserve to. Hopefully true fans of boxing will swerve it and anything else those involved are putting on in the future. These regulations are there to protect people's health, even their very lives. The sight of this twerp and those enabling him trying every trick in the book to evade taking responsibility for their actions has been truly nauseating.
I just spoke to someone from the BBBoC and he told me that they have not given permission for Conor Benn to resume his career in the U.K....?
