Most shameful duck in UFC history? Tom cleared most of the top 10 and did it in under a round. Jones is instead pursuing Pereira who’s predominantly a striker and is known to have a lacklustre ground game that’s built around getting him back on the feet. Pretty similar to the Gane fight, isn’t it?

It’s clear which fight is bigger for his legacy

Everyone is picking Aspinall to stop Jones.

It’s a valid take, Tom is the vastly faster striker at this stage and has a very formidable ground game. Jones’ chin hasn’t been tested at heavyweight and he has a stylistic weakness for good boxers like Reyes for example. There’s a reason he went to the ground so quickly against Gane, and in this case he just can’t take Tom down and sub him so easily.

Aspinall has beaten 3 of the current top 5, and 5 of the current top 10. "Has not done enough" is just a flat out lie.
Miocic has not fought in over 3 years, lost his last fight via KO and last won a fight in 2020.
Oh, and he is 42 now.

Jones knows he only has a few fights left in him, and he's clearly taking the Canelo approach for the end of his career. I'm not even certain he beats Stipe. A few years ago, I would have picked Stipe to win very confidently, but with the inactivity of both fighters and how shopworn Stipe is after the hard Ngannou and Cormier fights, I'm not sure what to expect. He shouldn't be allowed to duck this fight, though. If he doesn't want to fight Tom, he should relinquish the belt. We all know who the number one contender should be.

Jon Jones is a textbook narcissist. His fanboys have something seriously wrong with them to support someone like this. The UFC brass also do an amazing amount of spin to cover up what a ducking ped abusing scumbag this guy is.

Hiding under a ring in a gym for 15 hours straight to avoid a tester says everything about his character or lack thereof.

Bottom line, this is the bottom line... Jones has been protected by the UFC so much, he is, many were and are too, but they are so quick in covering it up for him...

Jones-Aspinall is the biggest fight to make at HW, and he's supposedly done nothing? Sounds like a duck to me, he should just give up the belt and retire if he doesn't want to fight the number 1 challenger.

Too bad. A fight I would have liked to see, but Jones is apparently semi retired. He doesn't care about legacy, feels it's secure as it is, and goes for the easier pay days.

If he beats Stipe and the UFC let's him face Perreira without stripping him it's a travesty.
