    Jaron Ennis needs to step up and start fighting better opposition.

    There are several good opponents for him at 154, and he's big for 147 anyway. Why is he wasting his prime on a fighter he already defeated?

    If he wants to stay at 147, there are several decent opponents there for him, such as Norman and Stanionis.

    And Devin Haney would make for an interesting fight, he's big enough to fight at 147.

    Chukhadzhian was more competitive against Ennis in the first fight than the scores indicated. His footwork and speed was pretty good. Just that Ennis' offense was too much for Chukhadzhian and he couldn't really get anything going. This fight will be more exciting and Karen will be more willing to exchange with Ennis, I think. The Avenesyan fight was a blowout, but Ennis did get hit a couple of times. His defense is leaky at times. Ennis should win, however I think it could wind up being tougher than expected.

    Some people online were annoyed with Ennis taking the rematch. Personally I don't mind it. Chukhadzhian did earn his shot for the title, and Ennis himself needs to defend the title, cause he kinda of an email-champion. Not something which is his fault obviously. This fight reminds of the Calzaghe-Veit fights. Calzaghe blitzed Veit in the first fight. Veit came back and got himself ranked the number one contender. Still losed. Both times he got his ass kicked, but he was the mandatory for the second fight.

    A fighter from my hometown that I thought was going to be my big comeback in 2024 is on this card. Alas, Eddie Hearn made a better offer.
