What more do y'all need to see to realize, this man has done NOTHING to be put in the conversations vs the elites of the sport.

His greatest accomplishment was completed by Terence Crawford. Crawford punched Errol for that title. A few weeks later, the title was given to Boots due to Crawford LEGALLY being unable to negotiate a fight with anyone because he had a rematch clause he had to honor.

He's relevance is only because he mentions Crawford's name every other minute. And those who lack the detail knowledge of what he and Crawford do in the ring really are convinced that he and Crawford are on the same level.

With the punches that Jaron gets hit with consistently from these B/C level fighters...... I don't want to hear a single argument that he automatically beats guys like Keith Thurman, Errol Spence Jr., Mario Barrios, Stanionis, Norman, and he needs to stay away from Crawford.......

All the hate that Crawford receives yet he has yet to get beat up by any of his competition.......Crawford has performed so well, that the fans who hate him give fighters "points" for feints and acting like they are going to throw a punch.....lol. Madrimov avoided exchanges for the entire first 7 rounds....Then when he decided to get his hands dirty, he got hurt in the 8th, twice in the 10th, and again in the 12th.....

Tonight we saw Boots try extremely hard to do something that he was not capable of doing. And that was stopping Karen. His pops begged for it from round 7 on...... We saw Boots swinging for the fences at times to make it happen........Without making any adjustments and/or setting traps. He just expected his athleticism to put Karen in a bad position. Karen used angles to score points. Deliver so clean and strong blows. Boots, rather than admitting that Karen was more than he expected, he decided to roll with the excuse that........147 is not the division for him anymore. He needs to move up to 154lbs........

And did I hear him correctly. Did he claim to be old.....at age 27?......

Boots beats these guys easily. Karen likely beats them too. Karen is not a bum. He is a top welterweight.

That's quite easy for me, since I was never on his hype train to begin with.

I was in the train for a short time. His flaws have been obvious for a while now though. Great physical ability but zero ring iq and bad defense. He’s getting ko’d if he moves to 154.

Why not give the Ukrainian credit for the high level boxing skills he exhibited in the fight? He may have schooled all the other top welterweights had they been across from him tonight. Sure he exposed Ennis defense and boxing ability. Some of you are acting like Ennis was in there with primitively skilled Balderthal and not a high level Eastern European boxer though.

Ennis is straight up and down no special effects. The kid is made to order.

Yes I was on the train a while back thinking he was special but he ain't. He is decent but that's it. Even his speed and power ain't all that before we even get to the defense, and fight IQ, plus he's a major weight bully.

I'll give respect to Karen he's got good movement so Ennis has a rough time hitting him. I don't think Brian Norman jr or teo could pull off Karen's game plan and I'd still pick boots over either but honestly it's close to 50/50 with teo since you never know which teo shows up.

Against 154s, boots loses to madrimov and Crawford but probably beats tszyu, fundora lubin etc. I'm undecided on how he does against Virgil and baki. Honestly they don't have the best defense either

Was never on the train. It's easy to showboat against average fighters on your way up. And casuals love that ****.

It's how you look when the competition level starts to increase. And he and several other highly hyped American fighters are all in the same boat. They keep failing as they get tested, whether they are getting the wins or not.

Their in love with their own **** because of all the **** they read on socials pushed by casuals.

The only way Boots improves from here is to drop the ego and just ****en box.
