He definitely gets hit way too much but he appears to have a good chin, great punch resistance so far. Honestly it makes the fights more intriguing and entertaining. He eats flush shots so frequently it adds an air of danger to the bout that wouldn't be there if he was more defensively sound.

People also have to realize Chukhadzian was showcasing some top shelf boxing skills. Walking Ennis down. Timing him immediately starting in round one. Bozy Ennis makes it clear Jaron could have fought Bud in 2023. They didnt want to fight on BLK Prime and instead continued fighting TBA opponents.

Brian Norman Jr was lowballed and so Boots fought an old TBA opponent and looked very ordinary. All because Boots didnt wanna pay $500k lmao

You can defend it all you want but Boots on some nut **** and I'm less convinced today than I was 1 year ago about his ability or seriousness in the game.

 

Ennis deserved the win but it was close. Chad did really well, but Ennis hit harder got the KDs and was on the front foot. Chad is ag ood fighter though and Ennis lacks even basic defence at times.

 

Look who Boots is with now. Eddie Hearn. He's not with Showtime anymore, so as far as I'm concerned it's irrelevant. The fight can be made now if Crawford were interested, but Crawford already said he's not trying to fight Ennis, he wants to cash out against Canelo.

You defending Norman while criticizing Boots is complete nonesense. Brian Norman was offered 3 times. Norman kept changing the goal post and the price was raised all the way to about 2 million which would've been 10× Norman's highest payday ever. Brian continued to price himself out until Jarons promotion gave up. Why avoid a unification fight that pays 10× the amount you've ever gotten ? I know why !
