    Who wins?

    Opinion:
Similar to Tyson's opponents, if they can go the distance against him, Tyson becomes tired and demoralised. If Tua could go the distance against Ike, he likely goes the distance with Mike and knocks him out in the later rounds.

Tua by whatever he wants, Mike had **** stamina on his later career.

    A bad one for Tyson
    Tua maybe stops him late.

Tua by late TKO. But mostly because Tyson was rusty. The 2000's version had more chance to beat Tua.

No. Tyson only looked decent against Savarese and Golota because they were extremely slow starters

Tua from Lewis is not Tua from Ike, in terms of style and preparation. Tua from Ike wins by default, like Danny Williams. Tua from Lewis wins after 12 rounds, that's how I see it.

Even though Tua was not in great shape vs Lewis, he still had solid stamina and exceptional power. Tyson might beat him to the punch for a couple of rounds due to his faster hands but Tua will break him down and badly batter him. Tyson would be drawn into a slugfest and get dominated.

Tua tko 9. At best, Tyson might go the distance.

Maybe, but the way he overwhelmed them showed that he was still a class above most of the division.
Tyson had a very good trainer at the time (Tommy Brooks) and was fighting quite regularly.

Who was Tua fighting in 1999/2000 that was so superior to Tyson (bar Lewis) ?

I'd just be glad to see the fight, that's the number 1 dream fight on my list and it's a shame they were both active during those times and never fought. But gun to my head, I'd say Tyson. Wasn't Tua injured in the Lewis fight with a rib injury? I'd say versions of Tyson(Savareses fight) vs Tua (Byrd) would be better versions of themselves.

Tua from the Lewis fight was out of shape and that was probably one of the worst versions of Tua in regards to his peak years to be quite honest. Tyson was also pretty poor vs Botha he lost every round until finding a hail mary right hand in the 5th round.

Tyson is more skilled than Tua but i don't think at that point in his career he had what it took to go 12 hard rounds with a fighter he couldn't KO. I think despite Tua being out of shape he probably still has a bit too much for Tyson who was basically a 4 round fighter at this point.

Did Tua ever stopped someone with Tyson's chin ?
People assume Tua would take Tyson's punches and fire back, but I don't think Tua's best punch - the leaping left hook - would cleanly caught Tyson.
Tyson still had some reflexes left at that stage of his career and showed some interesting bodypunching against Norris and Francis.

I think you're missing the point Tyson was not a 12 round fighter anymore at that point his career he was dangerous early on but he'd be up against an opponent he wouldn't be able to stop early and he'd be going into deep waters. And was the Tyson of 99 really able to go 12 rounds in a grueling fight ?

I mean Tyson was already showing real mental lapses he got frustrated vs Botha and tried to break his arm, he hit Norris after the bell, and kept punching Savarese after the fight was over.
