Billy Nelson on Talksport at 12.00 and it does look like the above fight will be happening as Journeyman Joshua continues to hide in the Humble Towers Dark Room contemplating his future as the new Del Boy 'War' Chisora while trying to avoid any live contenders. Dubois v Bakole is a great fight at the right time for both fighters if confirmed. Someone is getting KTFO in this fight but I have no idea who will be flattened. Really looking forward to this fight if confirmed.
Very impressed by Kabayel recently but he is not as elusive as Joshua since his obliteration by Dubois. Where is the big dosser hiding?
Kabayel Bakole is a great fight for me. Two men who have done well recently but not quite enough for a title shot facing off to secure one. Tough fight to call but have to back Kabayel as think he'll be too hard for Martin to pin down to land his heavier shots.
Kabayel v Bakole is a great fight between two fighters who are one fight away from 'earning' a title shot. Kabayel on paper should beat Bakole as he is technically much more gifted but Martin has dug deep in recent fights and you could say the same about Kuzmin, Yoka and Anderson. It will come down to who wants it more and I wont back against Martin and Billy in this one.
Beale, not sure why you think this fight will happen. There is next to no chance of this happening as Dubois won't face Bakole unless he's mandated to. Bakole will most likely face Kabayel and Dubois will face Parker. Bakole will obliterate Kabayel who is fast becoming overrated. He's a decent heavyweight, but his two wins against an injured and overrated Sanchez, and Makhmudov who is absolutely bone stiff isn't as impressive as people are making out. Kabayel should be credited for the wins as he won them in style but it's a stretch to say that he will beat Bakole. In fact, it's laughable. He will be destroyed by Bakole. Parker has even less chance of beating Dubois. He wouldn't beat Dubois once out of ten attempts. All roads lead to Dubois vs Bakole, which is a worthy heavyweight title fight.
The fight was being discussed on Talksport pre Nelson interview leading to listeners thinking Nelson was about to confirm it. Shalom was also giving it large about Bakole fighting Dubous next after Joshua losing his Humble pen. Will be a very good fight when it happens.
I watched the interview, but having watched all of Billy Nelson's interviews on YouTube and a lot of the other news surounding potential matches it was clear that it was never going to be about Bakole being in pole position to face Dubois. Billy Nelson has made it clear countless times that Dubois won't face Bakole on a voluntary basis. Accounting for risk-reward outcomes it makes no sense. Bakole and Dubois will both win their matches, so let's hope it happens following on from that, but if Usyk wins against Fury then expect a rematch between Dubois and Usyk. The best chance for Bakole and Dubois to face-off is if Fury beats Usyk.
