To me, the best in this respect were Joe Louis, Felix Trinidad and Floyd Patterson.

Grandpa used to tell me "When a boxer gets up and wins, thats when I know that boxer is good".

Who else was great at winning after "visiting the floor?"

Your last sentence was literally a tribute to Danny 'Little Red' Lopez.

Monzón was dropped quite a few times in the beggining of his career and much less later on.

John H. Stracey got knocked down in the first round by Jose Napoles but came back to stop the great Napoles a few rounds later.

Right he did and in Mexico City no less, and Jose Luis Ramirez twice against El Chapo in Puerto Rico (funny that when I say El Chapo these days, people assume Im talking about a low life drug dealer, as the second to last time I visited the beauty salon and told the lady how Chavez beat up El Chapo and she said "no, no way! he'd be dead if he did!) lmao!

But I mean more, who made it a career habit to get up and win fights.

We had a fighter by the name of Dave McAuley who was floored 16 times in his nine world title fights. He won six of those fights.
