Yes, there are 58-year-olds who could beat Jake Paul, lol. They just don’t generate enough money for Paul to fight them.

 

He didn't hit hard enough to KO Tyson but he certainly could have landed at will and no ref would have let Tyson turn into a punching bag at his age

 

Maybe we need to rethink this. Maybe Paul did do this as a favor for Tyson, who I believe is still in debt. A $20 million payday for his idol to help him get out of debt.

And I am saying he showed he was afraid of counters... maybe both things are somewhat true.
I don´t think this was staged.. I think Paul is a bad fighter and Tyson is old, cant move, is injured and now have no reflexes and timing to land punches properly.

The card overall wasn't horrible at least. Not great but certainly not the worst I've subjected myself to. Two damn good wars on the undercard and a couple of entertaining enough bouts as well. A couple of boring ones, and of course the main event bummed a lot of us out, but I think most of us were expecting it, much as we didn't want it to be so. Production was awful though, they really need to improve there.

But hey, that first round was nice, and I'm sure it brought back memories for some folks. Not the exact same thing of course, because if it was it wouldn't have gone past that round. But that's something, I reckon.
