Tyson has abused his body for decades - drugs, drink, being 30-50 lbs overweight has destroyed his knees.

There are 58 year old men who have kept themselves in shape and could do quite a bit better than that.

The pre fight routine and the actual fight totally rehearsed with one objective - fleece the mugs.

Pope John Paul could have wiped OAP Tyson out any time but it would have come at a huge cost to his personal image and popularity.

Cannot believe that people get sucked in by this garbage.

Pope John Paul £40m, OAP Tyson £20m laughing all the way to the bank with their loot.

Haven't seen it but you have to take your hat off to them for fleecing the gullible. The pad work videos of Tyson were heavily edited to make him look a lot quicker and harder than he was.

I saw a clip of the live workout and that's all I needed to see.

Surely it would be a case of letting tyson land or even throw some punches. What really is the point in scripting a fight where one guy cant really move anyway. The scripting angle only really worked with tyson being the scripted one. He didnt need scripted....he barely had any movement.

Name these 58 year old men. Like I said, at 58, you're not a threat. At least some of the guys here at that age realize the jig is up. It's when you run across the other 50 plus guys who still think they are billy badass and want to play the I'd fold you like a deckchair game. I just ignore the threat because coming from a man of that age, it's simply so ridiculous that it's comical.

I'm 32 and I workout. And I've already noticed that physically, I'm not quite what I once was at 25. No 58 year old is doing much without a weapon.

Be careful with that tinman. Agree with that guy below tysons knees/legs are shot to pieces through injury and weight gain etc played more of a part than his age imo.

I am the same age as you.

I did some friendly sparring with my 58 year old dad. I am not going to name him for privacy reasons. He was an amateur boxing champion in his day. Let's just say he packs a punch.

Of course i went easy on him. But the point is , he could still ko a lot of men much younger than him. He has kept himself in shape. Never drinks, never smokes, maintained a healthy weight.

The name Mike Tyson was all I needed to see at 58 years of age.

The way boxing is going, we may even see Barry Hearn v Frank Warren in a 3x2 Saudi Straightener on DAZN UK Box Office.

lol, it's not a Clint Eastwood movie and I love Clint. It's a real life. At 58, it's not happening for the man.

My dad is similar age and works out. And I'd never spar him because he would take it seriously and try to bust me up. Pride is a dangerous thing. And then I'd have to let him have it which would ****ing kill me inside to have to do.

I think it was partly scripted only . It was scripted that they do not seek a brutal hurting each other but the rest war real . Jake at least in parts looked for a knockdown abd tyson did the same .

Do you feel there's a big difference in level between you or it's mostly a question of better conditionning/taking a punch well ?

His conditioning is great and he can take a punch reasonably well. But the handspeed and reflexes are major differences. He hits hard but his hands aren't as fast as mine. I blocked/partially blocked a lot of his punches since i could see them. I did feel the power of course.

I hit him with a few decent body shots that seemed to bother him but otherwise i backed off. I think the biggest issue is his reflexes. If i went all out, i don't think he could see them quickly enough to duck/block/evade.

So yes i do think there is a big difference between us. But i also have significantly quicker hands and greater power than the average dude out there due to his genetics. I think Dad could still handle a lot of young men with relative ease.
