This was put to the test in 1994 when undefeated female, kickboxing legend Lucia Rijker (also with a 17-0 record in boxing), got knocked out cold in an exhibition against an average Muay Thai guy. And yet, against women, she was literally unbeatable, with an incredible combined boxing/kickboxing record of 54-0-1.
