Let's assume Spinks fought in the 1990s heavyweight division and was in his 20s when he moved up from light heavyweight. Could he beat all of the men Michael Moorer beat? Could he have derailed George Foreman’s championship ambitions?

I don't think so. I don't think he had enough power. In the first Holmes fight, he nailed Holmes with some haymakers but didn't faze him, as I recall. I also thought Holmes won the second fight.

He’d never get in the ring with Foreman, sans a monster payday.

He had the skills but I don’t know if his body would have held up at heavyweight for that long of a time. But sure he could have beaten the same health stricken Holyfield who Moorer beat along with guys like Cooper, Martin, Mike white, etc

Well Holmes had an ATG heavyweight chin. Lots of fighters would have been unable to dent his chin. Remember, as a 45 year old, his chin remained sturdy against Oliver McCall who one shotted a 30 year old Lennox Lewis.

You think he’d beat Alex Stewart?

This guy Holmes again? Am I going to have to cancel an afternoon meeting to explain again the worlds greatest fraud? Because don’t think I won’t.

    He’s at #3 all-time by half the forum’s reckoning. I say that’s criminal.

He was an undefeated dominant champion that went 48-0 and was very skilled with an ATG jab

Holyfield would have stomped the hell out of him. He would have been stopped in 4 or 5 rounds.

The version that lost to Moorer probably loses to Spinks. Also, don't see any version of Holyfield stopping Spinks in 5 rounds, Spinks was too wiley. A stoppage is possible, but a late stoppage.

He’d see Foreman for what he was like Moorer he’d also stand about as much chance as Moorer with Evander on a good night, both guys are good opponent choices for big LHW’s who were mobile.
