How does Freddie Steele do against the Murderer's Row fighters?

    Freddie Steele was a very underrated MW fighter with a great skills, power, footwork, and an impressive resume. How does the Tacoma Assassin do against the famous Murderer's Row fighters such as Charley Burley, Lloyd Marshall, Holman Williams, Hebert "Cocoa Kid" Lewis Hardwick, Jack Chase, Eddie Booker, Aaron Wade and Bert Lytell? Would he have been able to beat all of them or could some of them get the better of him?

    There are very, very few MWs in history that a peak Steele (before his manager's death + cartilage injury) wouldn't be at least 50-50 against IMO, including the names you've listed.

    Steele was/is Highly Rated, he is living proof that fighters of yesteryear 'actually' did fight great, because it is plain to see in some of the Footage of him... Who he Fought, beat & lost too are also elevated just by looking at him.

    He, like other great fighters, where we actually have some 'accurate' looking footage, PROVES that ALL TOP Fighters from all eras, were in fact great & top fighters.

    the Steele's of the World were not solely unique,
    otherwise Boxing would have been a walk in the park with No Resistance against them, which we know in fact the opposite was true.

    as I always say, 150 Years of Boxing, Tens of Thousands of Boxers, leaves us with thousands of Great Fighters!
