Should Tyson have been disqualified in the 2nd Ruddock fight??

Taking points away but not DQing Mike was fair.

One fight that comes to mind where I thought the winner should have been DQ’d is Pedroza-LaPorte.


Luis Lazarte unquestionably should have been DQ’d when he retained his title with a draw against Ulises Solis

Solis won the rematch at least.

Derrick Gainer-Freddie Norwood has the most laughably incompetent ref I’ve ever seen. Norwood should have been DQ’d, but Gainer got his deserved win. Only Gainer won the fight by TKO when he hit Norwood with 2 low blows, and the ref counted to about 18. Then the official announcement was “even if it’s a foul, the fighter must make an effort to get up by the count of 10”

There were a lot of borderline shots, and Ruddock did have his trunks too high. That has always kind of annoyed me in general when commissions don’t enforce this and make them wear it lower.

Some other shots were definitely low though, and Tyson kept blatantly hitting Razor after the bell (in both fights)
