Never KD, never put on wobbly legs, never even seen him hurt. The closest to being to hurt I recall seeing him is when he backed off after Opetaia shattered both his nostrils with a vicious uppercut but that was more due to the physical pain of the injury than being discombobulatized from the shot
Absolutely James Ali Bashir on Briedis He said Briedis sparred Wlad numerous times and was never hurt by him which he says is very rare for anyone who has sparred more than 30 rounds or more with Wlad. Time-stamped This content is protected And Wlad on Briedis This content is protected
wow. Didn't know this. Amazing that he sparred with Wlad and didn't get hurt. I would have loved to see him at heavyweight.
I saw Noel Mikaelian hurt him with a looping left hook in Round 6 of their fight. Around 21:46 in. But that's about it. https://ok.ru/video/1413780736557
Thanks. I wouldn't really consider that being hurt by my definition of it. He got caught flush with a big shot he didn't see coming and he grabbed a hold of Noel but my definition of being hurt is more being discombobulatized from a shot, being in trouble, on unsteady legs, in danger of being dropped.
Yes, the Klitschko brother's chef and camp manager used to post here ''I knew Mairis was a danger and would win. Bad choice for Charr . Mairis can bang!'' ''no but he was great at movement. You have to stay focused with Mairis at all times.'' Mairis is a tough dude. Had him at least 6-8 times in Wlad and Vitalis camps. Always gives top work'' ''Mairis can box that way is all day long, but dont be fooled, the boy has some power. Seen it first hand'' ''I DID... but I know what Mairis was capable of from many many times in Klitschko camps.''
Bredis is an interesting one for me. He turned pro in 2009 and didn't fight for a major title until 2015 or so. He should have been bought up faster. Way faster. I wish he had 3-4 more years at the top.
Thanks. I coined it myself. From discombobulate and discombobulated To discombobulatize and discombulatization
He is very unlucky, nobody backed him, even in his own small country pundits made him look bad. I still can't believe, people were against him in his hometown, when he is fighting Usyk. He deserved a good paycheck from boxing world. He has his own youtube channel now, he is active in boxing talk.
Briedis is up there with Ekassi as far as cruiserweight enigmas go... This content is protected I'd say we know more about Briedis though, didn't die in the heart of his prime.
He started boxing at 25, not sure how he really could have done much more in his career if I’m being honest
