Wladimir was 40. He literally made 23 defenses and you want to put him over Wladimir because he wins a couple fights

In no reality will Fury ever be a top ten heavyweight.

These lists are meaningless but beating both WK & Usyk would make him an ATG HW for me. Those are two ATGs. Where exactly? I dunno.. who cares.. you can only be the best of your time.. He also fought in one of the ATG HW trilogies too. Yes WK was ageing but what do ya'll think Tyson & Holyfield were when Lewis beat them? What about Holmes? Ali, Shavers, Norton etc.. these men were mid 30s onwards when Holmes beat them.. Anyway i doubt he does but if so then ye I'll give him that type of praise. Cos i think Usyks that good.. That would be a great career all in all. No one can argue otherwise.

Not a chance. He has to do a lot more than that. Maybe he can with more wins after Usyk. But let's look at the reality of his achievements for a second. Perhaps we should hold him to the same standard as his peers in terms of "fighting old men"

Fury has made a career of beating older guys outside of their prime. The last time he fought a guy in his prime, that was younger than him, was Otto Wallin, and we all saw what happened to Fury's face in that fight.

    Fury's most famous win:
    Fury (27.3 yrs old) v Wlad (
    This content is protected
    yrs old)
    , Fury was 12.4 yrs
    This content is protected
than Wlad. He never gave Wlad a rematch.

Now let's assume Fury beats Usyk in December:
    Fury (36.4 yrs old) v Usyk (
    This content is protected
    yrs old)
    , Fury is 1.6 yrs
    This content is protected
than Usyk. He lost the initial fight against a younger Usyk.
    Fury (35.2 yrs old) v Ngannou (
    This content is protected
    yrs old)
    , Fury is 1.9 yrs
    This content is protected
than Ngannou. He barely beats MMA Ngannou getting dropped along the way.
    Fury (34.3 yrs old) v Chisora (
    This content is protected
    yrs old)
    , Fury is 4.6 yrs
    This content is protected
than Chisora. He makes easy work of a guy he has beaten comfortably twice before.
    Fury (33.7 yrs old) v Whyte (
    This content is protected
    yrs old)
    , Fury is 0.3 yrs
    This content is protected
than Whyte. He comfortably beats Whyte, but the previous loss to Povetkin suggests Whyte is nearly done at the top level.
    Fury (33.2 yrs old) v Wilder (
    This content is protected
    yrs old)
    , Fury is 2.8 yrs
    This content is protected
than Wilder. He goes life and death with a past-prime Wilder.
    Fury (31.6 yrs old) v Wilder (
    This content is protected
    yrs old)
    , Fury is 2.8 yrs
    This content is protected
than Wilder. He dominates a Wilder at the end of his prime (according to this board). Note, officially Fury got a Draw when Wilder was in his prime.
    Fury (31.1 yrs old) v Wallin (
    This content is protected
    yrs old)
    , Fury is 2.3 yrs
    This content is protected
than Wallin. He is lucky to see the final bell against Wallin. He beats him well on the cards, but Wallin causes him all sorts of problems. The referee generously lets him continue with his face falling apart.

So, no, beating 38.0 yr old Usyk isn't a magic bullet into the top 10. He needs to actually fight some guys younger than him in their prime for a change.

*note: I'm using 365 days in a year for the age calculations

One of those fights was against Wlad himself at 39, or does beating ATGs not count?

Seems to be a rather selective context then mate.

You can't fight everyone in their primes, only who's in front of you.

If he beat Usyk 2 times and then took the remainder belts off Dubois I'd put him there.

Guess that makes Jake Paul one of the ATGs since he beat Mike Tyson handily. Right, Kiwi?

He had the option of fighting all these guys earlier though. Certainly could have faced Wlad in 2012. If he fought and beat Joshua he could have faced Usyk in 2021 like Joshua did.
