Mike was 19 when he was trained by Cus. Not enough experience to beat prime Lennox under Steward. Lewis by KO.

To make it fair, why don't we use 85 Tyson vs 96 Lewis?

IMO Tyson for me. Unlike the old version, he will not struggle to land. He will cut the ring quickly and nail him with fast combos. Lewis's powerful uppercut and right will jolt Tyson's head from time to time but i don't think it will be frequent enough.

Before anyone mentions Douglas, Lewis does not have the footwork, fluid movement, and the 5-6 combination punching ability of Buster. Different fighters.

Tyson tko 7. It wouldn't shock me to see Tyson win a competitive decision though, especially if he slows down a bit in later rounds.

Let's imagine we have a 20 years old Tyson trained by Cus, the one that kod Berbick?

It's getting more and more ridiculous. How about Lewis, but he's 28 years old and is trained by Steward from the beginning of his pro career?

No it's just a hypothetical match up.
Tyson with cus in his corner, facing Lewis with Steward.
We never saw Tyson meeting anyone top rated with him in his corner, so how do you think it would play out.?

I wouldn't count prime Mike Tyson out against anybody, except for the prime George Foreman. When I say prime Lennox wins in my eyes, it's like 55/45.

Trainer is irrelevant. Lewis beats Tyson no matter what.

Lewis has all the tools to beat Tyson. I mean Tyson might KO him a certain percentage of the time but I'd heavily favour Lewis most of the time.

You think a debuting Tyson would beat a Lewis with 7 years of professional experience??

Tyson in 85 was crushing cans. And a slightly more experienced Tyson in 86 was taken the distance by Tillis and Green. No version of Lewis loses to 85 Tyson.

Tremendous bout. One of the best prime battles in history...if both guys come to party.

Tyson for me. No shock there.

I’m gonna imagine it’s just prime-for-prime. Lewis is too fragile & too slow to cope with Tyson.
