he already did in the first fight. He had some success with it but it wasn't enough.

He needs to keep a high guard and actually land hard punches. Except for rounds 4-6 and one right hook in round 12, Fury was landing flicky jabs (not super clean power jabs), the ocassional good body shot and very few hard head shots.

He needs to throw a jab with authority (a power jab) mixed in with flicky jabs to keep Usyk at bay. He needs to use a power straight right to the chest and mix it in with right uppercuts to the head. He didn't use the straight right very effectively. He also needs to continue to use that shovel uppercut to the body which indeed gave him some success. And of course mix it in with the ocassional hard left hook which he doesn't do.

If he does all of the above, he has a chance. Knowing Fury though, he will foolishly continue to keep his hands low and try and use his head movement to evade shots and get caught by big lefts.

I want Fury to win, as much as I like Usyk, mostly because of the amount of delusional Fury haters on this board…

With that said, it’s hard to see a way for him to win with how the fight ended. Things got better for him by the end of the fight compared to when he got hurt, but the momentum was ALL in Usyks favor…

….and Usyk isn’t the kind of guy to be complacent - I expect him to come in better as well.

I’m not sure what the play is for Fury, other than less screwing around with both hands down….

But I’m excited for the rematch, whatever the outcome!

He did target Usyk's body. And guess what? A myth of Usyk being weak to the body was busted.

It's exaggerated that Usyk is weak to the body. It's more like it's easier to get him to the body than the head. That's clear.

Yeah, his high guard leaves a space to target the body sometimes. But... You need to watch out for counters, that's why it's so hard to hit him clean.

Probably fury would KO him and was looking that way but Fury tired and got sloppy. Fury's power always zaps from 6 onwards, given he had to box to a high level against Usyk unless Usyk gets sloppy himself which he was in them mid rounds then a KO is off the cards.

Boom! Exactly. Fury also got in several borderline/low punches and they didn’t set Usyk back.

It seems there’s about 1001 things that Fury “apparently” didn’t do in the first fight that he now must do in the rematch in order to win.

Fury didn’t just tire on his own right? Something made him tire. Wonder what that was?

Did you feel Furys trunks were high when he fought Usyk?

Throwing body punches comes at the risk of getting countered and Fury still has nightmares of that left hand in the 9th round.

Fury needs to run down Usyk (not walk), grab lean and grind away at the body like a meat processor.
Usyk would slow down or go down as a result. Nothing else will work all that well.
And then they'll have a rubber match to top off everybodies retirement fund. Who cares who wins that.

Nah, Fury should try focusing on his own body for once.
