I always think if the IBF have ordered and final eliminator and 2 guys pulled out that implies they don't fancy, it so Bakole should automatically be mandatory for IBF by default...but like getting a bye

 

TBF apparently Kabayel is swerving Bakole to fight Zhang, which is probably an easier fight based on Zhang's suspect gas tank but is still a very difficult assignment. Hopefully Bakole-Ajagba comes off; I like Ajagba but Bakole should stop him and be rewarded with a deserved title shot.

 

I agree, but as the IBF would then miss out on their sanctioning cut my guess is they don't. At least the IBF will likely go to the next in line instead of inventing some spurious reason why some guy who has spent 2 years out on a suspension should suddenly jump the queue... Does anyone recall awhile ago where about 8 different fighters passed up an eliminator, can't recall who they were swerving, or what the division was but I think the number one contender wound up facing the number 9 or similar?

This suggests to me that the winner of Kabayel and Zhang will get an IBF shot before the winner of Bakole and Ajagba.

 

Nobody should gunning for either Bakole or Zhang. Quick way to get chinned.

The biggest con job and disgrace in boxing right now is AJ rumoured to have the opportunity to potentially fight Fury should he lose or even worse beat Usyk. AJ is an ugly fraud bum who no longer sells.

Bakole is lucky Zhang is going a different option. Zhang would destroy Bakole.
