    I will definitely check this out, probably tomorrow.

    David Love, from San Diego, built quite a reputation for besting the deep pool of middleweights in Philadelphia at the time. He stopped Boogaloo Watts and Willie the Worm before beating Bad Bennie. Finally, Curtis Parker turned the tide, stopping Love in nine rounds to win the USBA title.

    Really good boxer-puncher from my memory who fought a lot of top guys. He was kind of a gatekeeper/high-level-journeyman/fringe contender type and was probably never an easy proposition for anyone.
