Stylistically they are both awful for Marciano, an Ali that never should have still been in the ring survived Shaver's right, and when was Frazier ever susceptible to/in trouble from an overhand right, in other words if Marciano is down on the cards which is very possible in fact almost guaranteed against a younger Ali, his Suzie Q will not save him like it did vs Walcott, and Walcott proved that Marciano could be caught with a left hook, I think the deeper the water the more Frazier's pace hurts him, Marciano has nothing that Frazier could not weather

Nothing particularly personal but I've been coming here daily for almost 20 years. I do so to learn and participate in good discussion. You get in the way of me enjoying this place, so I'd be lying if I said posters like you didn't put a hair across my ass. It is what it is. You're about as impactful in my life as dandruff but that doesn't mean it isn't still annoying, right? :risas3:

I think you need to grow up lad, people have different opinions it’s not that serious and it’s basic manners.

You’d never get to Frazier’s level if you only had one punch worth worrying about. Ask Earnie Shavers, or Tommy Morrison. Do you really believe someone could beat Muhammad Ali with an attack predicated on only a left hand!?

How great do you have to be to summon a transcendental boxing performance that sees you out-hustle and outfight the consensus greatest heavyweight of all time?

Nah just a one handed bum who got smoked by Foreman.

No disrespect, I already explained this to you lad, he did get to that level with what I’d consider one handed fighting (remember what id consider one handed many others to) he got his weight onto his front (the pivotal point becomes the front leg) and his right hand was not much behind the left hook at that point, it’s just how shifting your weight works in boxing, he was doing it wrong and he says as much in his own book on boxing he succeeded despite these technical issues. It’s also why his right wasn’t put into action much. You can absolutely make a plan around the left hook for Ali look at how many of them he successfully evaded in the FOTC lol.

Frazier was a complete sucker for right hands and relied too much on his left hook, so I'd have to heavily favor Marciano by knockout. Ali and Marciano at their best could go either way.

Sam Peter was 6 foot 2, 250 pounds with a 77" reach who, untrained, ran 100m in 11 flat.

Who is he supposed to resemble?

He was short-ish for the time, slow, clumsy, stubby, off balance and a slugger wasn’t he? I don’t think Marciano would do well today, if he was bigger with his skill he’d run the table but I was more answering your question.
