Prime Shavers goes back to 1940 to battle with Joe Louis. Does he find that right hand he used to flatten Norton and nearly flattened Holmes with?

Earnie likely puts Joe on his ass in the opening rounds before taking the ass beating of the millennium

    Shavers was no Galento.

I can see Shavers cracking him and then immediately getting his clock cleaned in similar fashion to Galento, Baer and Mauriello. Or I can see Louis just wiping him out immediately. Either way Louis gets the KO inside 4 rounds.

It really does just depend on how Louis feels on the night, how much brazen, his plan etc. it’s very likely if he’s on and he wants to just wipe Shavers out fast he could do it within 3 without much work and a bit of risk

All in all, I would go with Louis inside of 6 rounds.

The Shavers of the Norton fight was referenced.

I’ve gotta say, all be it brief, that was one of Earnies’ best, tightest, most accurate and most efficient performances - one which even Joe Louis might’ve been proud of.

Likewise, Earnie’s rematch with and TKO of Henry Clark was another poster fight for Shavers. All guns properly blazing in the first 1-2 rounds before questionable stamina came into the equation.

Louis would have to be well wary of the above versions of Shavers - but again, all in all, I think Joe wins via a just under mid rounds KO/stoppage.
