No, Usyk is very vulnerable as he rushes in, Hagler was more skilled than Usyk but had to rush in because of what Hearns was firing back, Fury just backed off at first and offered little response while Hearns planted his feet and let go fast combos, it was insane and thrilling.

Sure hope this fight does deliver us something as epic as Hagler-Hearns.

I can 100% say this is total pish and johnny Nelson is a bum dosser. There is no problem. It's the small boxing intracies Usyk has learnt about Fury where he can find an edge but the same applies for Fury who has seen those in Usyk also. Power is still really not that important in this fight. Both are coming for a 12 round fight. EITHER could hurt each other. Usyk doesn't want to be eating them uppercuts and Fury doesn't want to be dropping his guard with a pathetic 1,2 which let him get caught. Simple enough. Round 13 fresh and ready lets go.

Usyk will be happy that his gameplan was correct. It was looking rough in that mid fight but he sustained and the gameplan did turn out to be right and he will try to execute that again but better. Fury knows this and Fury's gameplan of boxing him and holding him off will remain steadfast also! The biggest weakness to address was Fury losing composure in some rounds that's all.

Do either make any major adjustments? I don't think so.

ERGH WHEN DID I SAY THAT. I RENOUNCE THE RELIGION OF NELSON. He might be an alight live commentator to be fair just not on these pre-fight and post fight takes. I hate all British pundits. Maybe not Andy Lee.

These two pairs of fighters have nothing to do with each other whatsoever.

Fury got cocky and thought he was walking it then got made to work at a pace to figure usyk out and got caught. Usyk a machine but if fury can fight at that pace which no one who’s faced usyk can…he wins…I pick usyk though

eh. He just didn’t train for Ngannou. The Fury who fought Usyk would have treated Ngannou like AJ did.

honestly, Fury in a weird way is impressive for how well he has held up in spite of his own best efforts to ruin his health and career. He should be absolutely terrible and shot by this point, yet, he’s probably the favorite against anyone not named Usyk. And even then, he’s no worse than a mild underdog.

his whole career has been that - got a robbery against an obese but decent British level fighter and once uppercutted himself. But turns it on when he has to.

It still happened. And it was all within his control. It happened because that’s who fury is. Neither ngannou nor usyk allowed him to drape himself all over them. Fury couldn’t halt their offense.

Against Ngannou, I think there were some other significant nullifiers in play - aside from whatever lack of conditioning Fury took into the fight.

As to the Usyk version of Fury doing what AJ did to Ngannou - I think the only way Fury could prove same would be to actually face Ngannou again - rather than, by assumption, inheriting credit for AJ’s own win over Francis.

For one thing, Fury doesn’t have the power that AJ has/had to see Ngannou off before Francis could gain any traction.

    It will not happen .

The ngannou - joshua fight prooved that any lets say top 20 world ranking HW would easily destroy ngannou so nobody will promote a nonsense fight .

I have no idea what happened at fury -ngannou since even an untrained fury should easily floor francis if really focused to do so .

A wild guess is that fury had the idea to intentionally "just play" with ngannou for the show and fury,s arrogance resulted francis got a lucky punch and hurt fury in the 3rd .

After that a hurt fury barely stumbled to victory .

That resulted in the illusion ngannou is way stronger than he indeed is until AJ opened us all the eyes.
