His chin is still suspect. I'd like to see him fight Donaire again - it wouldn't shock me if Nonito knocked him out this time.
This thread is a bit of a fun blast from the past. Crazy to see how much Rigo's stock has fallen, how he went from being so highly praised as one of the most talented and skilful pugilists on the planet to being an old guy who everyone feels mismanaged his career and hurt himself with boring performances.
He is now winning back some admiration given his recent performances and age. I for am genuinely curious to see how he performs at the world level, if given an opportunity.
He’s 44 years old. Should have been an ATG. Didn’t get there but he was an amazing talent. He’s not getting into world level fights at this age.
