    P4P in heavyweight rankings?

Max Schmeling and Jersey Joe Walcott are both in my top 20 heavyweight list. Billy Conn would be in my top 20 light heavyweight list. Maybe John Henry Lewis and Jimmy Bivins too.

The best fighter that he beat Pound-for-Pound was Billy Conn who has a good case for top-forty all-time p4p.

The highest ranked fighter on my HW rankings that he beat would be Joe Walcott who has a fine case for top twenty.

The best fighter the he beat in a P4P sense was Billy Conn, and the second best was John Henry Lewis.

As for the best heavyweight that be beat, that is between Baer, Schmeling and Walcott.

Personally I like Schmeling, but you can make a case for any of the three.

Baer, Schmeling or Walcott are all acceptable answers.

Walcott or Bivins because of how past-it Louis was. Conn was a better fighter, but Louis was in his best years. Lewis was shot, & Schmeling past it.

    John Henry Lewis.

190 pound Braddock is the 2nd best 30s HW IMO but Lewis could have been the GOAT of boxing. Not the HW GOAT or the LHW one but the GOAT of the whole sport.

Walcott probably doesn't make the top 10 for me. Tony Galento likely doesn't make the top 20.
