    Bazooka Ike is my favorite. Silence Mabuza is close second, although not in the conversation for greatest (pretty underrated, though)

    Im surprised Brian Mitchell got no votes yet. At one time , magazines spoke about a potential Nelson-Mitchell match as "the match to define the African GOAT"...

    He couldn't make feather anymore after this and it all but ended his career at the world stage. I'm still shocked he managed to beat Olivares, a great fighter in his own right.

    And that was in Mexico Ci...err..Los Angeles, too, right?

    im in Phoenix which its the same distance, airplane or by car, from LA and LV (both L's ah, lol?) but if we were in the 70s and 80s, when you could attend fights in LA for like 15 dollars (I know, I know..inflation...still its 15 dollars only!) involving Ali, Duran, Arguello, Sanchez, Norton, Olivares, Chacon, Lopez, Kotey, Saad Muhammad (vs Louis Pergaud, I believe), Bazooka Limon, Gilberto Roman, Chucho Castillo...Garza, Davila, Pintor, the Sandoval brothers, Chandler and then the other guys who did not become champs like Ruben Castillo, Ruben Navarro, Jesus Pimentel, my childhood friend Juan Carazo...well worth the money of traveling! (I mean you could go to Disney while you are there or to the Hollywood hills, lol!

    LAX would also be a spot for me as I love aircraft spotting!
