Parker will do much better against Dubois than Joshua and Hrgovic did.

I see Parker as a high-level gatekeeper. He's being overrated beyond belief.

 

Dan, at this point, will steam roller Parker. I don't think Parker has the power to deter him or the engine to ourwork him. I really like Joe but this fight could be Dan's coming out parade given the recent performances by Parker and the way he is talked about as some mythical giant slayer. I don't think it will be close, and as good a chin as Joe has, I don't think he will see round 9.

 

There was not any positive side to the extra mass Parker put on for the Joyce fight (271lbs),it hampered his movement as well as slowing him down and he also tired in that fight.Parker needs movement to have any chance of beating Dubois,his weight of 245lbs (Wilder) and 247lbs (Zhang) in his recent outings served him well against both these fighters and I’d be surprised if his weight differs much from them fights tbh.

It's pointing out that as slow as Joyce is, he had this odd ability to time his shots well enough to hit pretty consistently.

 

Yet he beat all of them except Whyte in a controversial decision. Including fighters with much greater hand speed like Wilder, Ruiz and Zhang.

Also, how on earth is a top 5 heavyweight, former world champion and current title contender a gatekeeper? Who else does he need to beat? I'm sure if he beats Dubios we'll see all the excuses under the sun.

He couldn't avoid Zhangs punch who is pretty slow

Similar to Parker in most ways in terms of how easy they are too land on

 

He has a solid chance of victory
Dubois is still vulnerable despite his new found form

No excuses here if that happens

Dubios doesn't seem to really have much defense and is appearing to fall into the same trap Joyce did by over relying on his chin to bail him out.
