One of the weakest hof classes by far, headlined by Manny Pacquiao, Vinny Paz, Nunn etc.

    It seems to be getting weaker as the years go by.

    Honestly speaking, I don't really hold Manny Pacquiao in such high regard. He is a good fighter, but I don't see great no matter how many times I watch him fight. Don't care what anyone says.

    Way too many sham fights, smokes and mirrors, and weight clauses imposed by him and his team. Almost all of his fight were catch weight fights.

    To me, he more or less devalues the hof this year when he is the leading candidate of this class.

    He is borderline HOF in my book. He is no Floyd Mayweather even though he tries to be imo.

    If manny is Barley Hall if fame level, then I think it best shut the doors forever

    Manny is one of the true greats and arguably the greatest In the last 25 years. Although I think Floyd is better, I arguably rank Manny as greater due to the longevity, number of fights in many weight classes

    He had 3 legandary Mexican hof level fighters in his era and fought them 9 times with a winning record (Although jmm had his number imo and should have won their h2h)

    Beat up much larger opponents, yes some at catchweights, but he was a smaller guy

    Most importantly he was exciting. He had a fan friendly style and was a force of nature when attacking. Despite being a one handed fighter earlier on, he did learn to box better and his defence improved as he grown older

    I also respect the fact that he was still an attacking fighter after his destructive knockout loss to marquez.

    Manny is a true ATG just like Floyd and more than worthy for the hall of fame

    Ill just say there's a reason most people call him Manny "Pacroid" Pacquiao.

    I'll just leave it at that.

    There's too much controversy surrounding him.

    I feel like there was something going on behind the scenes for Paz to have gotten in. It's nonsensical to have him ahead of Tarver, Dariusz, and almost every other guy on the ballot.

    They must be doing a late night screening of his movie after the ceremonies or something. Or maybe the ballots are disproportionately given to Northeast Italian guys.

    Yeah, Pazienza most certainly doesn't deserve to get in under any reasonable, rigorous standard - but the boxing hall of fame has such low standards, I'm not shocked

    I like Paz, being a NE American of Italian descent. However , HOF worthy? Nope.

    Its honestly kinda weird that you cant accept Pac being great as well as Floyd.

    Paquiao absolutely deserves to be in

    Paz.....I don't think so. I even have issues with Nunn making it in.

    Like I said, he deserves to be in. But to me, he's borderline.

    Vinny definitely no

    Nunn also definitely not

    This is a very weak class

    Do I personally think Pac was "pure"? Nope. However that doesn't sound that different from the people calling another boxer "Froid" Mayweather to be honest.
