Rigo was outclassed and out matched by Loma. Robeisy took a shot to what looked to be a swollen left eye and waved no mas. Robeisy for me

This is the point I latch onto. In both fights, Rigo looked much smaller, Robiesy looked much smaller. It reminded me of Chris Byrd fighting Wlad Klitschko: they're somehow in the same weight class but the physical proportions make it look and feel like a child fighting an adult. It's less sporting and more like watching one dominant animal toy with and kill a smaller species.

so I don't judge either of them for getting demoralized and seeking a way out. Meanwhile it makes me admire all the more the Chris Byrd's or hell even Oscar Valdez the other night against Navarette who fight on DESPITE such one-sided odds.

Would be bad loma quitting vs crawford? because that's the equivalent of rigo fighting loma. 2 whole weights up.

Well, not true. Loma is not 37 yo yet. Wait until loma is 37, and make him fight crawford, let's see what happens.

Btw, a 40 yo guy who belongs 2 weights down is the best loma's victory. That says a ****ing lot.

Robeisy broke his orbital (probably from an elbow) for all of the eloquent pontificators in this thread.

Just as I suspected at the time after he went down from a jab to the eye, Brad Pauls also suffered a fractured orbital socket on Saturday night too. Whilst I won't and no one should criticize any fighter for pulling out due to a fractured orbital socket, Brad Pauls fought on to the final bell.

Granted he sustained his injury much later ( in the 10th) but they don't say ''Brits don't quit'' for no reason. We're literally the fiercest warriors in the world and going out on our shield is as natural and instinctive to us as lions hunting for food is.

Inoue also suffered a broken orbital bone against Donaire and he kept going like a Samurai.

    Special fighters do special things.

Espinoza is a lot better than anyone Inoue fought.

No it's not. because that quitter Rigo moved up 7 poxy pounds from 121 to 128, and he'd already had previous fights at 125!!

Imagine crying over 7 poxy pounds, well really it's just 3 pounds cause he'd already fought at 125!

Lomachenko was just straight better than Rigo in every department physically and mentally.

The great Oleksandr Usyk has moved up in weight for fights by 25 pounds and been outweighed by as much as 38 pounds by his opponents. And still continued to win and dominate without making any excuses.

And here's a pathetic Rigo fan @chacal moaning about how Rigo moved up a few poxy pounds haha

It was. The only people calling for that fight were Loma critics. Loma didn't want the fight and nobody in Rigo's weightclass wanted to fight him.

I've had my orbital broken. It's very painful and wouldn't like to even imagine what it's like to carry on get punched in the same spot by a top level pro.

The Rigo vs Loma comparison is not the same

For starters, the size difference between Crawford and Loma is much more than it was between Loma and Rigo and Rigo has a 2" longer reach than Loma, whereas, conversely, Crawford has an 8.5" reach advantage over Loma

Even the 135 Crawford weighed about 15lbs more than Loma, whereas Loma had about 9 or so pounds on Rigo

Also, let's not forget that Rigo is the one who not only called Loma out but both he and his army of fans spent at least the best part of a year waging a social media campaign mocking and goading Loma begging him to take the fight and accusing him of ducking Rigo and they were utterly convinced he was going to not only beat Loma but KO him. it was only after Loma toyed with their god like a child and completely outclassed and out skilled him that their revisionism, tears and excuses about size started. Serge got the receipts

Rigo could've had the fight at 126 but he kept messing Loma around and Loma moved up in weight. Serves him right for messing Loma about

Loma is routinely, bare minimum, giving up roughly the same amount of size at 135 as Rigo was against him and often more or even way more and routinely with the addition of giving up a lot or huge amounts of reach too. Not a peep about size from them when it comes to that though just like there wasn't when Loma was giving up more size in his second pro fight than Rigo was against him or when he was giving up more or way more in his other 'losses' too and Loma never quit in any of them even when being fouled like crazy all night

Speaking of which. Fouling was the only solution Rigo could muster against Loma and that didn't work either. He quit because he couldn't find an answer to Loma's superior skill level and because he could barely lay a glove on him despite the fact Loma was toying with his ass without even needing to move out of first gear.

''No mas, Mr Nomaschenko you're just way too skillful for me.''
