Sort of a side note, but why is it that white fighters seem to cut more easily than black and latino fighters?

Not to be lost in the circumstance, also a man who had just given him tooth and nail in his previous fight.

    "Get in there Frank".

Harry Carpenter after Bruno wobbled Tyson with a left hook in the first round of their initial contest.

I was 6 years old and it's the first memory I have of my Dad showing emotion, as he stood up off the sofa and shouted encouragement to Frank.

I remember thinking this must be a big moment, as I'd never seen my Dad display any other demeanour than one of stoic control, prior to it.

I'd say more sun exposure makes their skin tougher but not every black and latino guy comes from the tropics. My second guess is bone structure.

yeah it can’t be a sun thing, if we look at American whites, American Latinos, and American blacks. Maybe you’re on to something with the bone structure. Unless somehow melanin makes skin less likely to tear?

I don't think that's a real thing. There are a lot of Mexicans who get cut as a result of "Mexican style" and there have been white fighters like Wlad and Calzaghe who didn't get cut often because they stayed on the outside.
