Pick of the heavyweights/Cruisers this weekend? Okoliepuss looks like **** but carries his power up at heavy. Adelaye looked decent, catching Dacres cold. My mate beat Dacres in the Ams. Aloys Jnr looks like a bit of a one trick pony to me, very slow feet. Charr - Pulev of what I managed to see wasn’t the worst fight in the world lol. Charr at 40 looked in decent nick. Didn’t catch Torrez jnr.
Richard Torrez Is A BULLDOZER | FIGHT HIGHLIGHTS Torrez can punch. And his combination punching looks impressive. BUT he is open for the right hand. Look at the start of the video. Torrez's chin is sticking up in the air, his head is on the center line instead of being off the center line. He ate a clean right hand and a 3 punch combo. Put him in vs big right handed punchers like Dubois or even Wardley and he likely gets ko'd by the orthodox straight right. Torrez needs to study the defensive mastery of Usyk. Move your head off the centerline and keep your chin tucked.
Andrii Novytskyi vs Edgar Ramirez has been added to the Fury-Usyk II card. Novytskyi is a decent age 29 heavyweight, his manager Egis Klimas has been doing a good job with him. The card is looking better now, with 4 heavyweight fights, and Lapin-Colin at 175 and Bohachuk-Davis at 154.
tell me a little of Novytskyi. What are his strengths and weaknesses? He is orthodox as far as i can tell so he doesn't have the leftie advantage. But he is 6'6. Is he a good puncher? Good boxer?
Kuzmin to fight undefeated Solomon Adebayo now (14-0 13KO’s). I think Khalidov might be in trouble with the law again.
This content is protected Radchenko is a much better fighter than his record indicates. However how are the WBC willing to give him the opportunity for a title shot, albeit at bridgerweight?
Ilunga Makabu will face Wadgy Attia on December 31st in Congo. With the situation with Gevor (whatever reason he has, as to why he isn't active), and the draw between Rozicki and Peralta. It would be cool to see a mini-WBC tournament in the division between Gevor, Rozicki, Peralta, Makabu, Cieslak and Billiam-Smith - all who are rated in the top 6.
Or I guess not... This content is protected This content is protected Wloda against Baski for the WBC interim belt at bridgerweight.
