That's a pretty good list, especially when considering the performance against Holy and that I probably beat Morrison, too.

    Underrated!

No, the quality of some of his knockouts, particularly Cooney, some of the most savage of all time

I think Foreman's career is overrated overall.

    It depends what you mean.

If Foreman only had his second career, no first career, he'd rightly be considered one of the weakest lineal HW champions of all time.

However, in the context of his second career commencing age 38, after a 10-year hiatus from boxing, his achievements during it are remarkable.

In terms of the impact his second career impacts how on he's ranked:

If you hold it to the same standards as you would as if he was prime, you'll likely rate Foreman lower than I do.

If you give him credit for all the wins as adding to his resume, but ignore all his losses on account of him being post prime, you'll likely rate Foreman higher than I do.

I mostly rank fighters based on how good they were and what they achieved during their prime and how long that prime lasted. Foreman's second career doesn't impact that. For me, for this reason, his second career enhances his all time ranking, but not by very much.

As far as winning the world title as a middle aged overweight dude, hell no. 30 years later, no one has matched that specific feat.

Now, if you're asking do I think that George had a chance against monsters like Lewis or Bowe during that time, absolutely not.

I don’t think it’s over rated. In fact I think that over the past several years it’s been overly dissected and criticized to where it’s now underrated.

The guy won the heavyweight title at the age of 45 !
Can't see that record being broken in our lifetime tbh
    Definitely not overrated for me.
