Not quite. Except from the 9th round, I would say 1, 8, 10 were clear for Usyk. I would also argue for 2 and 12 being clear for him as well. I scored the fight multiple times and I had 6 rounds won by Usyk, 3 rounds won by Fury and 3 being the swings (2 of those I gave to Fury).
I said his one BIG clear round man, and that is why it's always shown to prove Usyks 'dominance' when in reality it was one of the few rounds he absolutely dominated. That was the point I was making. On the night, I thought Fury had it by one, but I've still not rewatched it...but, I'm not usually that far out...so, one round either way or a draw sounds fine to me, no arguments about Usyk winning
They hate Fury, but love Aj I suppose they buy whatever Eddie sells them and fall for his fake nice guy persona
Great punches sure, but they barely did as much damage as Usyk did in round 9. If it wasn't for the supportive referee, Fury would've been knocked out.
Usyk felt the shot and was hurt by it in the sense that it was physically painful but he was not discombobulatized by it, on wobbly legs, or in any danger of going down despite the fact he was fighting a 262lb man mountain who had a massive 40lb weight advantage on him, a 7'' reach advantage, a 5-6'' height advantage and it looked like a fight between a leprechaun and a giant Check this out A 262lb man mountain wobbling all over the ring like a supersized weeble wobble out on his feet, eyes in separate orbit, spittle dribbling out of his mouth, and needing a miracle from the good Lord in the shape of the referee coming to his rescue to save him from a certain KO loss from a tiny little leprechaun half his size This content is protected
Exactly, robbed of a great victory Oh well, least he didn't let it deter him and has bounced back from the cheating
It never gets old. Usyk and Goliath. It's the myth that everyone wants to see coming true. When the little man keeps his faith, the mountain will move.
Eh? Loads of us Brits hate Joshua. Among proper boxing fans I'd say Fury is definitely the more popular. He was actually very popular before the Chisora and Ngannou farces. I dislike both of them myself.
For sure and it really doesn't ever get old. Everytime I see that big ugly flabby shaved chimp wobbling around the ring like a newborn giraffe calf doing a rope to rope tour of every square foot of the ring it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside
Crowning moment? I guess that term could loosely fit since Dubois did hit in Usyk in the Crown Jewels…..and it was just one of a number of low blows Daniel tried on <context>.
