I felt that the Fury-Wlad fight was very close and that was mostly because Wlad didn't let his hands go enough. He only woke up in the final round.

I remember not being impressed by Fury's performance at all.

    I thought Wlad won the 3rd, 4th and 12th.
The 5th and 10th were very close.

I dont really feel good saying this because I once knew John H Stracey through emails and he is an excellent fighter and excellent gentleman too but I think Napoles beats him rather handily.

Thats the hard thing about knowing these people sometimes. You want to be objective....

Sugar Ray Robinson beats Ferd Hernandez and everyone who beat him as an old man (Stan Harrington, Ralph Dupas IIRC, Joey Archer) rather easily.

Alexis Arguello would ko Scott Pink Cat Walker in five. Arguello had trouble with cuties but Chavez got him in two, I think Arguello could do it in five.

Ray Mancini would out hustle Greg Haugen in an action packed affair..tko 12.

Wilfredo Gomez would ko Alfredo Layne within 6 as a Junir featherweight. Wilfred Benitez would outclass Davey Moore and Matthew Hilton and Scott Papsadora.

There are plenty of examples plus the ones you all mentioned already!

What do you mean? Jake Paul already beat a prime Tyson.

Yes John H was extremely lucky to face that version of Napoles.

    A few debatable ones:
    ‘89 Chavez over Tszyu
    ‘89 Chavez over Oscar
    Antonio Cervantes over Aaron Pryor

It took Jim 21 rounds to love tap an obese alcoholic into submission. Hip hip!

I think a younger Jess Willard could have beaten Luis Firpo, a younger Sonny Liston could have beaten Leotis Martin, a younger Muhammad Ali could have beaten Trevor Berbick, and a younger Wladimir Klitschko could have beaten Anthony Joshua.

I’m not sure Johnson ever beats Willard. Even at that stage Johnson certainly had his power and maintained a lot of muscle in spite of his weight gain. He threw everything in the book at Jess and still couldn’t even faze him, there were stages in that fight where Johnson hit Willard at will.

I suspect that Jess’ size advantage would always be too much for Jack to handle.
