Both fighters sat down in-between rounds, too. Fecking down right unusual, eh?. Who'd have thought it....
It’s wrong, isn’t it? Because among other Usyk HLs otherwise, people miss out on seeing Olek bust Fury’s nose.
I didn’t see Usyk being so much lost (in intellectual, boxing IQ terms) as he was a bit gassed after a a relatively fast and highly successful start during rounds 1-3 - thereby opening a window for Fury to come forward and land during rounds 4-6.
Seriously, that round should’ve inspired a Fury themed pinball machine, including variously located mini, bald Fury heads that you knock down over and over for major bonuses. Of course the pinball machines reactive audio would have Fury calling you a Dosser and/or a Big Sausage whenever you missed the mark. The machines working title? - The Gypsy Queen.
Will Fury be the second man following Dubois to knock out Usyk? 7 days and we get our answer One of these guys taking another loss
Wow, did I just read someone accuse Usyk of cheating? That is delusional. For a more sober view of actual cheating, for just one example, see Fury whipping out the elbows against a boxing debutant, no less. Desperate men do desperate things - that IS something that Usyk does have to look out for.
Will Usyk be the first and second man to knock out Fury? A loss to an MMA noob and two consecutive KO losses to Usyk??? Quite a slide down the ratings ladder.
I believe that they are now including still shots of Dubois’ low blow in boxing manuals for an unequivocal visual exemplification of an illegal punch.
You have an eagle eye, old mate Arch. I noticed that too but of course it escaped the attention of the useless announcers who were too intoxicated with their useless observations otherwise.
these guys sound like that mindsmash guy, talking about their fighters winning it via "the multiverse theory."
Fury clearly hurt Usyk in the 6th, and Usyk himself acknowledged it after the fight and claims that Fury was his toughest opponent yet. Not that Fury's haters will ever acknowledge it of course...
He hurt him probably three times at least, the body shot, the uppercut and maybe in the 12th he landed a good RH too. Usyk hurt Fury more of course, but only with the one shot. Usyk landed more power shots to the head, most without big effect. In the end Usyk was harder to hit clean to the head with power shots, but Fury can definitely hurt him if he gets big ones through. I think if Fury fights the same and is in the same shape it will be hard for Usyk to land a shot like the one he did again, which was flush and really whipped Fury's head. He couldn't repeat it in the fight. So it was clearly difficult to do. But we'll see what happens.
