Women's boxing is being rammed down our throats. I am sick of these joke matches being shoehorned into men's shows. I'd prefer if women had their own shows. See how many tickets that sells.

It’s just about okay if it’s evenly matched but most are just British women vs absolute no hopers.

Yes because I wouldn't watch them; which is precisely the reason women box on men's shows.

I don't know a single person in the real world who likes watching these dreadful women's fights that are forced on us. I only ever encounter women's boxing fans online. My misses will watch the boxing with me and even she rolls her eyes whenever a women's bout comes on.

Women’s boxing would be contested in empty gyms and small halls if it wasn’t appearing on Men’s boxing cards.

The major promoters are prepared to lose money for virtue signalling points for now.

I don't mind watching the top of the tree, BUT I think a max of 1 per card and let's not have them headlining unless a mega fight. I've probably upset both sides with my view. The issue is as per football they start to believe its the same product, and you become an issue if you call it for what it is.

Yes absolutely. Let them succeed or fail on their own merits.

We all know which it'd be though which is why it won't happen.

Women who watch boxing like to watch men's boxing. For obvious reasons. Womens boxing is a complete freak show.

As long as I don't have to watch Natasha Jonas again, I'll agree to anything

Or when they put the likes of Ellie Scotney fighting some awful mandatory as co-main event and describe the show as a ‘world title double header’. It absolutely kills the atmosphere before the main event.

I agree. I only ever see people legitimising women's boxing online. At the top end, we've got Katy Taylor, a woman who has received every advantage going, and she still clearly lost to Persoon who isn't even a full-time boxer and holds down a job. She went life and death with her. Her hair was all over her face mixed in with the blood. We hear about how Taylor and Serrano have great technique but they are lobbing punches at each other from across the ring and they still can't even put one another down.

They are also a cheaper option which fills the card with so called World Title fights etc that cost no more than a men's English or Area Title fight and on top of that as one top promoter told me , they tick a box too.

I just don't like it, I don't like seeing 2 women punching each other in the face , but each to their own.

I'd say having them on thr youtube segment or 1st fight on the main, just so people can tune in and watch after they've fought.

They key for women's boxing is the best fighting the best in each division as soon as possible. The depth in each weight class isn't high enough and its why like with some men fights the golf in class is huge. I have no problem with women fighting on mens card, last nights card was sold based on two women's World title matches, if you got tickets for it, you were going for that reason. Unfortunately sexism like racism is still running wild, some of the comments directed towards women on this forum as times is completely disgusting and deplorable.
