    Louis
    Lewis
    Frazier
    Marciano
    Dempsey
    Tyson

I am all confident about, especially the first four. Holmes, Tunney, & perhaps Liston, might do it too.

If it's in Manila, a lot of them just wouldn't be game enough in the heat/humidity, FOTC Frazier obviously, Dempsey and Louis, but there would be a bit of a skill gap between them and that seasoned of an Ali ring IQ wise and really athletically Ali was still superior, Marciano would lose worse than the simulation, none of them really carried themselves in the deepest water quite like Frazier even the Manila version, like replace Charles with Manila Frazier vs Marciano and Frazier is almost certainly winning

There are levels, and even 88 Tyson wasn't quite there, Lewis was slow enough without the heat/humidity

Some of his skills had waned by that time but he was never rougher and tougher and at 224 / 1/2 pounds he was a big man. Even Eddie Futch remarked when he's that big there wasn't much Joe could do.

224.5 Ali sitting down on punches is not just a big man, it's a bad man likely producing more power than Louis

They say Rocky was rough and tough and he fought with a nose with blood gushing from it but was he willing to risk dying before taking an L? It was 120 degrees in that ring. It was like fighting in a steam room.

Anyone who's willing to die, just to beat Ali..
Maybe it could've been Rocky Marciano who just kept going despite all circumstances he got? Idk,so hard to beat a man more willing to die than his opponent who's gonna ruin his plan of winning a trilogy.

The criticism of the fight is both Joe and Muhammad's skill had waned . I would argue that Ali still retained 60% of his skill but he had 150% of a normal man's will.

Wlad maybe? Ali at this stage would be suited for him.

Personally I can't pick Tyson to beat that version of Ali though there's a small chance he could pull it off, Mike will throw his load onto Ali and do some damage but when the smoke clears and the bell rings for round , 9,,,round 10,, round 13 Tyson wilts like lettuce on a hot day. Ali has the best chin in heavyweight history and Tyson will never win a battle of wills with Ali
