    Nice video
If Fury wins then we get a rematch first to settle the the trilogy

Good video. Hoping for another Usyk win and then maybe he calls it a day. It would be nice to have a clear breakpoint in the morass that is boxing.

It kinda settles in, that it may be the end of the era. The first one I observed live in full. How the time flies...

First era live in Full? Not surprised and it explains everything lol

Maybe if you grew up with other eras, you wouldn't be overrating these guys especially usyk

Cross era comparisons are an exercise in subjective hubris. No one can claim to know what will happen between any two professional fighters that never fought much less different eras. At the end of the day it’s typically two people in a ring and anything can happen. I’ll judge people by how they performed on each night they fought nothing more.

Yeah, because you saw the likes of Sugar Ray Robinson, Joe Louis and Muhammad Ali live, lol.

No but i have seen other great fighters live, Floyd and manny are 2, but there are others like Rjj
    Oscar
    Lewis
    Toney
    Hopkins
    Sweet Pea
    Chavez Sr
    Mosley
    Calzaghe
    Barerra
    Morales
    JMM
    Holyfield
    Tyson
    Wlad

I'm not saying all the above are greater than usyk, though I do rank a few ahead of him because they fought better competition and I do think many are on his level

Now thats a list that only stretches back 30-35 odd years, so imagine how many more are greater or comparable to Usyk in the last 120

I don't underrate usyk, you guys calling him goat and top 10 overrate him. At the very best he's top 20 (not imo) because he doesn't have the longevity or good enough opposition to break the top 10. I don't even have Floyd or manny top 10 and they have WAY better resumes than Usyk

Usyk is one loss away from being miles away from the Goat. Maybe thar loss will never come?

But usyk isn't this undersized heavyweight he has been made out to be. He was a huge cruiser and much bigger than Holyfield. Fury is a few inches taller and carrying way more fat

Anyway, you call me a troll, this is my last response regarding why I don't rate usyk as among the best. Yes you can only beat what is in front of you, but if you are fighting subpar opposition? You best make it look easy and not look like you were beat with a hammer post fight

Now I will go back to ignoring you lol
    Dismissed

Both Usyk & Fury are on the way out.. & its not looking good for a new era.. looks absolute dog shite whats coming through other than Dubois, so we should appreciate this one .. i think its been an excellent era overall this past 10 years.. Usyk, Fury, Joshua, Wilder, Parker, Zhang, Ortiz, Whyte, ageing Povetkin, Dubois, Chisora, Bakole etc.. i think it will be appreciated more over time.

    Hi Buddy.
You should post more often, you make a lot of sense, slightly annoys me when I see a poster state that fighter A stops fighter B in round 7, how ridiculous.

Back to ignoring me, huh? There wasn't one day this week, you wouldn't respond to me. You're DMing me to say how much you are triggered. And now you're writing an elaborate response after saying you will ingore me. I'm in your head, boy.

Your post doesn't make any sense. We all have different scopes to what we see live. We all seen some ATGs live. We all can overrate/underrate certain eras, because we didn't see everything. It's all our opinion at the end of the day. There are people who have been through more eras than you saying Usyk is the GOAT (the statement I don't agree with btw.). So it's a moot point, where only thing that you're doing, is showing that your opinion doesn't mean anything, comparing to the guys that have been around longer than you. You're actually depreciating yourself trying to do it to me. It's quite funny to be fair, you're getting your trolling stripes.

People trashtalking the fighters in the most recent HW era will remember this period very fondly three years from now. HW division is about to hit the skids.

I'd say an eventual fight or fights between Fury v AJ and then the retirement of Usyk in the next 12 months or so would be the end of an era. Not this fight, regardless of result.

If it's the end of an era, then it's one of the worst, if not the worst HW era of all time.
Not only because of Fury's "retirement" and dubious title defenses, but also because we didn't watch Fury Vs. AJ and AJ Vs. Wilder.

The era ended when they all aged out and started losing. It's over now. A Fury win doesn't change that.

It's not just they're losing now. They're losing and all those names that used to sound good when they were on top, like Takam, Ortiz, etc are trash. Pulev was a win in 14, in 24 he's a trash win.

The fact that only Parker is looking good these days says the old era is over. He was the first to fall, first to be given time to be a sad boy, first to rebuild himself, and the only one of them to beat a high rating contender from the new guard since losing and being a sad boy.

So even if Parker does great and Fury does great, their era is over and they are doing great against new names. Like Usyk and Zhang.
