That's all true. I think it was Spencer Oliver who recently referred to Turkey's wealth as if he were some sort of billionaire. It's not his money he's in charge of dishing out on boxing.
Your post left me with more questions than answers You can't break anything down, your speaking from the heart and not using any logic I never said Fisher Allen fills a stadium, you implied it's been taken away from a stadium opportunity And yes it would have been at the Copperbox Eddie's already claimed it as Fishers home base as its 20 minutes down the road from Romford So again, for my own good and benefit please break down the bigger picture for me?
He owns a Bugatti Chiron along with 80 other supercars. I would say he's got bag. For those that are not aware The "Alalshikh" are an extended historical Saudi family who are part of the social elite.
I believe it is, for a variety of reasons. I looked this up ages ago. Violence and money were two of the reasons but can't think of the others.
I see Allen is flying to Saudi via Cairo. Would have thought that the Saudi’s would have at least sorted out flights for the fighters. Especially when you’ve got the fake journos flying out business class.
The general public are unaware that we are in the vicinity of a rare unicorn. Dave allen is 6/1 for the outright, but the real hidden gem is the 4/1 for the distance. I have been unable to get my head around the discourse on this fight. Johnny fisher has 0 experience even at english level. His best win is vs a glass jawed cruiserweight. Allen has shown a sturdy chin vs high level opposition in the past & seems to have the bit between his teeth. Hes been going on youtube saying he was embarassed by the clarke quitjob. I doubt fisher is even as good as clarke. Hes a crude rugby player that eats curry 3 times a week. And to leave the best till last….. the fight is a mere 10 rounder. Unicorns rarely come around. Take this opportunity while you can
I can see this. Fisher totally untested and what little I've seen hasn't filled me with confidence. He's no Itauma
m you could be right but hearing fisher talk about putting on a show in Saudi to secure more appearances on Saudi cards to earn money for his family has reinforced my thinking that he’ll be going for a ko. Allen has trained so must be fitter but years of abusing his body is bound to catch up. He’s not far off 33. Once he starts taking blows the Doncaster silk pyjamas might lure him to give up again because he seems to be full of himself and thinks he’s fairly loaded. He’s got children. Might start thinking of them. Allen may have riled fisher with some of his talk too. I’m going for a fisher ko.
Yes, I’ve lost my head and I’ve been suckered in by Dave again. I’m sat here and part of me thinks he can win before I put my serious head back on and realise that there’s no chance. But as the poster mentions above this is a level that Fisher hasn’t fought at, his best win is an out-of-his-depth Croatian bouncer masquerading as a Cruiserweight. And I think this level is his ceiling, but I expect him to get the win with Allen doing his usual performance of not throwing a punch and being a human punch bag before getting pulled out by his corner probably in round 8 or 9. To be fair to Fisher he takes this life seriously (unlike his Father) and he has had the support to take him this far in having one of the best trainers in the country, having the luxury of the best training facilities and the opportunity to box/train full time rather than having to work too. But I don’t think he has the natural talent, and hard work and the best trainer will be enough to get to this level but I don’t think it’ll be good enough for a level past Dave Allen. I just hope Dave does give it a go. It’s about time he put in a performance to match all his talk. We keep hearing this bollocks from many that Dave Allen is a good boxer (based on sparring) but we’ve never seen it in the ring.
