The size difference between Usyk and Fury has never been exaggerated.

It has been called for exactly what it is - and Fury’s size advantage comprised a good number of calculations as to why Fury would win the first fight - or at least it was presented as a fair quantification of what Usyk was up against in terms of size, aside from skill vs skill.

Uysk is absolutely maxed on viable size - 223 1/2 lbs his heaviest weight - he might’ve even crossed the line for ideal viability.

I’ve guessed that Olek might come in a few pounds lighter than that for the rematch.

Fury on the other hand was notably trim at 262 lbs - his lightest weight in years - but it still equated to a 38 1/2 lb weight pull between the two men in Fury’s favour.

True, Fury is 6’7” (not 6’9”) but Usyk is 6’2” max (not 6’3”) and Fury still has that reach advantage.

As to whatever degree of fat Fury carries, given his leaning/mauling tactics, that fat does become functional.

We’ve also often been told that Fury appears flabbier than he actually is due to his natural, not so aesthetic, body shape.

So Fury’s natural body shape suddenly isn’t a thing anymore?

Trying to “shrink” the size discrepancy between the two is a “new” thing and an attempt to unduly discredit Usyk’s very real achievement in overcoming the notable size difference that he did actually overcome.

It may not appropriately factored into his HW
achievements in an absolute sense but it is certainly a boost for him in the P4P frame.

Maybe it's the lighting, but he looks the slimest since AJ I.

Fury is likely to be heavier than in the first fight.

Maybe it was a ceremonial weigh-in and the weights were already validated ?

I'm the winner here. Take most of those clothes off and you get my guesses.
